What kind of raw chemical materials are used in the pharmaceutical industry?

Among the raw materials used by the pharmaceutical industry, hydrochloric acid and caustic soda are quite popular. Both of these chemicals are used for various syntheses required to manufacture many drugs. Hydrochloric acid and caustic soda for pharmaceutical applications are used as pH adjusters, catalysts in chemical reactions and as reducing agents. These material’s substances are also used to manufacture, for example, ascorbic acid, para-aminobenzoic acid, salicylic acid or polopiryna. Storage of pharmaceutical products in pharmacies

Proper storage, transportation and packaging of drugs is as important as their production. The pharmaceutical materials used to compound drugs should be stored in the original packaging or in special containers, suitable for a given substance. The containers must have a legible and durable description of their content, and ensure that the substance is protected against light, moisture and dust.
