Cleveland Metroparks Zoo to open 'Dinosaurs Around the World: The Great Outdoors' on July 1

Admission to Dinosaurs Around the World is $2 for members, $3 for nonmembers.

CLEVELAND — Guests at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will soon be able to take a trip back to a prehistoric age.

"Dinosaurs Around the World: The Great Outdoors" is set to open on July 1. 

During all Zoo visits, guests will have a chance to experience Earth in an age where dinosaurs ruled the land. The exhibit features 20 enormous advanced animatronics, a multi-layered narrative and cutting-edge research.  Explore and learn about each of the earth’s seven continents and dinosaurs that once roamed there.

The animatronic collection of dinosaurs features the mighty T. rex that stands nearly two stories high and the gigantic amphibious Spinosaurus that stretches more than 40 feet. The Zoo’s 4-D Theater will also be showing The Lost World 4D.

Admission to Dinosaurs Around the World is $2 for members, $3 for nonmembers. General zoo admission is also required. Dinosaurs Around the World is included in the the Total Experience Pass which gives guests unlimited access to the Dinosaurs Around the World exhibit, Circle of Wildlife Carousel and Boomerang Line train rides, plus a KeyBank ZooKey. Guests save 35% with the Total Experience Pass. The cost is $8.50/$8 members. Guests also save $1 at Ben Gogolick Giraffe Encounter and 4-D Theater with the Total Experience wristband.

Guests will be able to buy tickets day of at several locatons including Box Office, 4-D Theater, Circle of Wildlife Carousel and Boomerang Line Train.
