One, The Principle of Closed Cooling Tower and Open Cooling Tower

3. Advantages of the Open Cooling Tower


The construction costs is ratherly low, comparing with the closed cooling tower, the costs is only the 1/3.


4. The Disadvantages of the Open Cooling Tower

① Some open cooling towers need 1~2 water pools of 20 ㎡.


② As the drop of the water and the open type lift loss, the electricity consumption of the open type cooling tower will be more, and need be equipped with the 2 sets of pumps, big electricity consumption.


Four. The Selection of the Closed Cooling Tower and the Open Cooling Tower


In summary of the above comparision of technical parameter and the performance, we can see that the construction price of the closed cooling tower is much more higher than the open cooling tower, and the value maintainance will be better than the open cooling tower.
